Fat Randall are a Dubai based punk rock band that came together in early 2014. Since then, they’ve released 2 studio EPs - “With Extra Fat” (2014) & “Keep It Down” (2016) which took them from local gigs in Dubai to stages across Europe & the UK, including at institutional festivals like Punk Rock Holiday in Slovenia & Rebellion Festival in the UK.
Along the way, they’ve also had the opportunity and honour of sharing stages with punk rock veterans, Authority Zero & Much The Same.
Recently, the band have made significant changes, transitioning into a quartet and while their earlier style & sound straddled between paying homage to their many influences and carrying it’s own distinction, the shift has allowed the band to explore deeper themes & undertones.
Their latest single, “Anchorless”, released in April 2024 highlights this evolution - showcasing a blend of heavier instrumentation, vocal harmonies & introspective lyrics.
